Corporate
How well a building performs is determined less by the devices inside it than by the intelligence that connects them. For more than 25 years EnergyPlus has been building that intelligence: designing, manufacturing and commissioning in building automation, industrial control and energy management.
Who we are
EnergyPlus Teknoloji is one of the few companies in the automation sector that both develops products and delivers projects. This dual structure gives us a real advantage: every problem we meet on site becomes an input to the next revision of the products we build. We have closed the distance between the laboratory and the construction site.
From our Istanbul base we serve customers across Türkiye through our dealer network, providing direct engineering support on projects.
Our R&D capability
We develop our own controller family and programming software. This is the most fundamental difference between us and a company that simply sells from a catalogue.
- EPL series programmable controllers — field controllers built on the open-source Sedona Framework, supporting MODBUS RTU/TCP and BACnet IP/MS-TP, with detailed scheduling capability.
- EPL input/output units — multi-protocol I/O modules that extend the programmable controllers.
- EnergyPlus Workbench — our own Sedona-based visual programming tool. It lets the field engineer build control logic without writing code.
Developing on open standards is a deliberate choice. Closed systems tie the customer to a single manufacturer; our approach is to leave control of the building with its owner.
Our engineering capability
Selling a product is easy; the real work is making that product perform in a real building under real conditions. Our engineering team is involved at every stage of a project:
- Design and sizing — valve and actuator selection, automation schematics, panel and cabling design.
- System integration — bringing devices of different brands and protocols under one roof, with deep expertise in Tridium Niagara, Sedona, MODBUS and BACnet.
- Software and commissioning — building the control logic, field tuning, testing and acceptance.
- Operational support — training after commissioning, remote support and periodic optimisation.
We do not keep our technical knowledge to ourselves. On our blog we publish technical articles and calculation tools that engineers can use in their daily work — valve sizing, cable sizing and AHU airflow calculators, free of charge.
What 25 years brings
A quarter of a century of field experience means knowledge that cannot be learned from catalogues: knowing which solution genuinely works under which conditions, where problems will arise, and how a system will behave five years from now.
That experience pays off in our projects in three ways:
- Correct sizing — an oversized valve or an undersized cable goes unnoticed on day one; it returns for years as lost energy and lost comfort.
- Sustainable solutions — we build systems that can still be maintained five years later, whose parts can still be found, and which another engineer can understand.
- Foresight — the right question asked on the first day of a project saves weeks during commissioning.
Our product and solution range
Alongside our own products we also supply those of the world's leading manufacturers: Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Danfoss, Dwyer, Controlli and Saia Burgess. This allows us to recommend the solution best suited to the project, free of brand dependency.
Our product groups: programmable and non-programmable PLCs, temperature, humidity, pressure and water leak sensors, protocol converters (Modbus TCP/IP – RTU), PLC and SCADA software.
How we work
Openness. We develop on open protocols and open-source frameworks. We build solutions that free our customers rather than tie them to us.
Measurability. Saying "more efficient" is not enough. Without energy meters, trend logs and reporting, no improvement can be called permanent.
Continuity. Handing over a project is not the end of the job but its middle. We care about remaining reachable, with the same team, after commissioning.
Let's work together
A new project, an improvement to an existing system, or simply a technical question — our engineering team will be glad to talk to you.
